Safety and security of the child in the classrooms, corridors or school buses; technologically advanced learning centres to help gain the extra edge; an eye for aesthetics in every inch of concrete or greenery on the campus – all blend to make the school unique.

ACADEMIC INFRASTRUCTURE

SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY CENTRE:

A spacious room, well furnished with facilities to aid learning of electronics, graphics and robotics.

ART AND CRAFT CENTRE:

The Art and Craft Centre has been specially designed with adjustable desks according to the needs of the children. They enthusiastically dabble in art, craft and ceramics, which gives them the opportunity to express themselves in a positive, tangible and imaginative way.

MULTI-PURPOSE HALL:

A large Multi-purpose Hall with a state-of-the-art stage and foldable chairs accommodating 700 students. The Hall doubles up as an Auditorium when required. It is also used as an indoor stadium for sports activities like Table tennis and Badminton.

HOME ECONOMICS CENTRE:

A vibrant place to learn cooking, meal planning, sewing, stitching, hospitality, flower arrangements and other practical life skills.

YOGA AND MEDITATION CENTRE:

For enhancing focus, concentration and kinaesthetic flexibility.

MUSIC ROOMS:

Customised Music Rooms for both Western and Eastern Music containing a variety of classical and western musical instruments. School’s own band, orchestra and choir have been trained for Indian, Western and Contemporary Music to perform in school assemblies, Annual Functions and other events.

DANCE STUDIO:

The Dance Studio has been created for students to acquire skills in Indian, Western and contemporary dance forms generating rich cross-cultural exposure and sensitize the students to fine art.

DAY CARE:

South City International School provides a safe environment where children enjoy and make good memories. We believe in collaborating with parents to determine the best learning path for each child. We have our own state-of-the-art which is exclusively for Pre-Primary classes of South City International School.

  • An updated and elaborate fire-fighting system has been installed along with fire-alarm, smoke alarm and water sprinklers all along the corridors and stairs.
  • Disaster management system, evacuation plans and fire drills in place, to be put into action in case of emergencies.
  • CCTVs fitted with cameras to apprehend outbreaks of fire, a commission of mischiefs and abuses have been set up in the corridors, staircases and in fire-prone areas.
  • All students, teachers and administrative staff to be provided with Identity Cards to be displayed on their person when in school. Entry into and exit from the School will be strictly monitored by the Security Guards.
  • Guardians or persons duly authorized by parents to take charge of their wards at the school gate after the school hours will have to collect beforehand from the School an Exit Card with his/her photo identification.

A 5-bedded Infirmary (3 for girls and 2 for boys separated by partition), with a full-time trained nurse and a general physician who can be contacted if required. We have a tie-up with AMRI hospital, a short distance away for emergencies. There are health check-ups from time to time with reports sent to parents.

Safe drinking water will be provided, purified under the RO system.

Fresh food served at the School Cafeteria will be supplied by one of the best-known caterers in the city. The School’s dietician will have a check on the foodstuff for their freshness and quality. The entire campus will be kept clean and tidy.
